In 1997, this former IBM protoge left the world of big business to start BOXLAB, a cutting edge consultancy that combined browser and database technology with graphic design elements to deliver knowledge management solutions. Their pioneering work led to accolades from global powerhouses like GE, where BOXLAB designed and built a complete global knowledge management architecture. BOXLAB rode the crest of the tech bubble wave then astutely closed shop before the wave came crashing back. Following BOXLAB, Justin provided collaboration and knowledge management consulting to Vivendi Universal and several of its affiliates, then stepped back for a couple of years to pursue a life-long passion for music. During this time he became marketing manager for a well respected international academic press. Through this in-depth exposure to a market struggling to compete in the face of new technology, Justin used his BOXLAB experience and started to synthesize a suite of service offerings that could help these types of companies harness the new technology without compromising their values or spending themselves out of business.
