CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT
At CVM, software development refers to web applications and web sites. The changes in technology over the past few years have provided everyone with the opportunity to build applications that are accessible through numerous devices. This concept originally known as “thin client” programming has been the basis for all of CVM’s development over the past five years. It allows CVM to build capable transaction applications that offer access to back-office, remote, authenticated, and anonymous users via the same technology. The result is the flexibility to grow and change with, and for, your customers.
CVM has extensive experience modeling businesses and developing custom software applications. CVM's completed projects include transaction systems such as accounts receivable and project management through reporting systems and e-commerce web sites.
CVM's developers have experience with numerous databases and numerous client development environments. Although CVM has developed all types of applications over the past fifteen years the majority of CVM's efforts now take place in multi-tier environments. The multi-tier model allows separation of interface and transaction logic which allows (among other things) the creation of re-usable components as well as the security of transaction control.
CVM strives to create business applications and database enabled web sites that provide business efficiencies while offering scalability and maintainability as a business grows and changes. CVM does not attempt to re-create standard applications that exist in the market with all of the advantages of packaged software.
CVM's current development projects incorporate the following technologies: Oracle's Database Server, Microsoft SQL, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, Microsoft Transaction Server, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office VBA, Microsoft Data Transformation Services, Microsoft Analysis Services, and Microsoft Exchange.
