This singer/songwriter from the folk-pop powerhouse with the gnomish voice immediately gets down to business. As front-loaded with commercial ammunition as she is, Monica Rizzi has a lot to say in her music... with a crystal clear voice and real-girl lyrical style.
10 a.m., shows the flaunting sassy vocals of this 23 year old New Yorker. Born to music-and art loving parents, she spent her earliest years in Texas where she grew up listening to a variety of music. In 2000, she moved to Nashville, with no more concrete a game plan than to see what Nashville had to offer. After graduating Belmont University Monica decided to move back to New York where she is in the process of recording her newest album, "Tilt." Combining her special and unique talents as a singer/songwriter, she has shown the world her ability to create music that touches the heart and stimulates the mind. "I want people to know that my music is real and honest...it came from my heart. My music represents who I am..." |
